This is my channel of Tips & Tricks for AV Technicians. For more than 23 years I have been an AV Technician (Audio Visual Technician).

Do you know what an AV Technician is?

AV stands for Audio Visual. We are the people who are working in the back corner at events and conferences taking care of the technology that makes and event happen. Laptops, projectors, screens, mixers, microphones and many many many wires and cables.

There are a few schools around the world that teach the skills needed but one of the best ways to learn the business is to volunteer. I got started by volunteering at church. Plus I'm a self-starter, I learn on my own. When I was hired at the AV Company I work for I told the owner that "... if it has power running through it then I can probably make it work...."
